Hippychick launches The Wheelybug Clinic: repair of baby gurneys

Traditional toy company Hippychick has decided to play its part in promoting sustainability within the toy industry. They launched The Wheelybug Clinic, through which consumers can recycle their old toys rather than throw them away. We are talking about the Wheelybug line of children's gurneys in the form of funny animals.magnetic tiles

The toy firm introduced its Wheelybug clinic as a repair facility for a popular range of gurneys in a wide variety of animal designs, as part of its commitment to environmental awareness.magnetic tiles

The service will be provided by Scott Batman of Hippychick. He will provide repair services for used Wheelybugs (owned by Hippychick for about 11 years). However, only now Hippychick has been able to officially launch this service.magnetic tiles metropolis

“Not many people have taken advantage of this unique opportunity at the moment,” says Yulia Minchina, founder and managing director of Hippychick. "But Scott, who we believe is a modern Gepetto *, has shown such incredible ability and dedication to repair Wheelybugs that we decided to officially launch The Wheelybug Clinic in the summer of 2019 as part of Hippychick's aftermarket service."magnetic tiles

“From our point of view, this is a positive environmental step. Instead of throwing away a toy that works in principle , but simply (for example) lost one of its wheels or broke a little, customers can now use a professional repair service, after which the toy looks like this as good as new . "

A new Wheelybug is priced at £ 64.95 today (slightly more expensive with a plush cover).
